The NovaSouls

The NovaSouls are five likely lads from the Ipswich suburbs. Their stories of booze fuelled weekends over tunes that reference the best bits of The Jam and Oasis have culminated in their debut album "Pipe Dreams & Bravado". Keen to do things on their own terms, the CD was released on the band's own label, 'Great Darts!' and has received positive reviews both locally and nationally.

The NovaSouls played the Kesgrave Music Festival last year and were keen to return this year. "Unfortunate circumstances means that the St Elizabeth Hospice means a great deal to us personally." explains Chris, bass player and one fifth of the band. Danny (vocals), Vegas (Guitar), Jamie (Guitar) and Scott (drums) complete the line-up. "We've done fundraisers for the hospice off our own backs so we were more than willing to come and play this festival. Hopefully the sun will come out as it did last year and we can raise even more cash for such a worthy cause."

And the music? Well judging by the quality of "Pipe Dreams & Bravado", The NovaSouls have got this base well and truly covered.
